A thoughtfully designed retirement community

Sunnycroft in Waterdown, Ontario, is a proposed six-storey retirement residence overlooking the stunning Niagara Escarpment. The 238,697 sq. ft. development includes 198 residential units and three levels of underground parking. Tyler Wilkinson, as Vice President of Development, guided the project in development consulting and architecture, ensuring a thoughtful approach to design and planning.

The project integrates residents’ needs with the surrounding natural environment, incorporating indoor and outdoor communal spaces that encourage social engagement and active living. Extensive coordination with the local conservation authority and a successful rezoning process were key to preserving the site’s sensitive escarpment location while enabling a sustainable and accessible development.
